"They have upset me a lot"/ Robert Ndrenika talks about the attacks after meeting with Erion Veliaj: I have never bought a house

Renowned actor Robert Ndrenika has reacted to "Top Story" after the reactions his meeting with Erion Veliaj in the courtroom aroused.

Ndrenika said that after meeting with Veliaj in court, he was faced with negative comments.

He stated that his colleagues did not attack him and that he received positive feedback from them.

The actor emphasized that he cannot express with conviction Veliaj's innocence, but added that he has known him for years and has created a positive perception of his figure.

Ndrenika also rejected claims that he has received favors or wealth from the mayor of Tirana.

"The attacks after the meeting with Erion Veliaj? Some people are speaking badly of me, even from the family. What can I say? They have upset me a lot. My colleagues have not attacked me. They speak well of me. I cannot say that he is innocent, but I have known him as a person since he was little. I cannot say with conviction about his innocence.

"Some tell me that I benefited. They tell me that he gave me a house. I have never bought a house in my life, because I inherited my father's house. I have had that land since the time of King Ahmet Zog," he said.
