Trump calls for investigation into Epstein's ties to Clinton, other politicians and organizations

President Donald Trump said today he would ask Attorney General Pam Bondi to lead an investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's ties to several prominent figures, including his political opponents and major financial institutions.
His comments came after the publication of Epstein's emails earlier this week that included references to him, the BBC reports.
"Now that the Democrats are using the Epstein lie to distract from the disaster caused by the government shutdown and all of their own failures, I will be asking Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice, along with the great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein's connection to Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reed Hoffman, JP Morgan Chase and many other individuals and organizations, to understand what was going on," Trump said via his Truth Social platform.
"This is another 'Russia is to blame for everything' hoax with all the arrows being pointed at it by the Democrats," Trump said.
He also stated that Epstein was not a Republican, but a Democrat.
