A serious incident has occurred in the Delijorgji area of Tirana, where a man was injured in the abdomen. The perpetrator has been identified as Besjan Ferazini, who is suspected of having had an affair with the injured man's wife.
The incident is suspected to have arisen from a family conflict, fueled by jealousy and claims about a woman, and as a result Ferazini used the weapon to injure the victim. The injured, Akil Koxhaxhiku, 34, is currently in stable condition at the "Amerikan 3" hospital.
Meanwhile, the police have also reacted to the incident, saying that the perpetrators have been identified and that work is underway to arrest them.
"Around 15:50, on Kavaja Street, it is suspected that during a conflict, citizen AK, 34 years old, was injured with a gunshot wound. He is in hospital, out of danger to his life," the police announced.
This incident comes after another tragic case in Tirana, where a young man lost his life as a result of a knife attack, increasing concerns about security in the capital.
