Police have arrested a 36-year-old wanted man at the Kapshtica border crossing. He was arrested while attempting to cross the border illegally.
He was sentenced to the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offenses "False testimony" and "Introducing prohibited items into institutions for the execution of criminal decisions."
"As part of the in-depth checks and interviews at the Kapshtica Border Crossing Point, citizen PN, 36 years old, resident of Elbasan, was detained at the entrance to the Albanian territory.
The verifications showed that the Durrës Court had imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on him, for the criminal offenses of "False testimony" and "Introducing prohibited items into institutions for the execution of criminal decisions", while he was attempting to cross the border in violation of the law.
"Further procedural actions were carried out by the Elbasan Local Police Directorate," the police announced.
