44-year-old Albanian man executed by gunfire in the US, co-owner of a restaurant in Michigan

A serious incident occurred on Sunday evening in Michigan, USA, after a 44-year-old Albanian man was shot and killed outside the restaurant where he worked.
A suspect has been taken into custody for the incident, which occurred at 9:38 p.m. at Prime 7 Bar & Restaurant, 635 Cooley Lake Road, in Commerce Township.
Officers who arrived at the scene identified the victim lying on a porch outside the restaurant. The victim has been identified as Francesk Shkambi, 44, a resident of Howell.
Medics who arrived at the scene began treatment and he was transported to a local hospital, where he later died, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.
Shkambi was the general manager of the Prime 7 restaurant.
Sources told FOX 2 that Shkambi had received a call, left the restaurant and was shot.
Sheriff Michael Bouchard said the suspect and victim knew each other for a period of time before a dispute between the two escalated into the fatal incident. Shkambi was shot twice.
The restaurant's staff and owner were shocked by the news.
"He had the biggest heart in the whole world. He came to this restaurant when we were nearing the end and he built us up and made us all family ," Alex Crawford said.
"He's like a big brother to me. He was a gentle giant and we'll miss him dearly, that's for sure ," she added.
"He was like my brother ," said Frank Gjura, owner of Prime 7.
The nature of the dispute that led to the shooting is still unclear. More details are expected to follow during a court hearing.
The suspect is a 65-year-old Farmington Hills resident who turned himself in. He was being held at the Oakland County Jail.
Bouchard added that the suspect confessed to the crime and the reason why he shot the victim, but did not provide details.
Investigators also recovered a weapon they believe was used in the murder, a 9mm pistol that was reported stolen, according to authorities.
